This is the first band of its kind in the north of England, it might even be the first in the whole of the UK. Composed of over 24 keen young musicians aged between 12 and 17 playing at grade 5 and above.
WOW, a youth sax BIG band of twenty four musicians, including rhythm section – can you just imagine the sound, awesome ! A platform for not only standard pieces but for improvisation and maybe even individual composition. Quite something.
